This is an opportunity to join our exciting, dynamic Greener Growth Delivery Team. We travel all over East Anglia delivering maintenance and teaching contracts. We work across a variety of rural and urban sites looking after commercial grounds, and delivering therapeutic gardening programmes, teaching various user groups how to grow food and conserve nature.
You will be working in small teams delivering a variety of programmes in settings such as schools, community groups and prisons. We are also interested to hear from people with a background in carpentry and construction work to help with building our new gardens in various settings.
We are looking for people that are great communicators, have experience in horticulture, or a background in teaching, conservation and/or growing food . Greener Growth are looking for nature focused contractors to join our Greener Maintenance Team. This flexible, self-employed position involves gardening and general grounds maintenance with a focus on nature and conservation at one (or more) of the sites we maintain.
Working in small teams you will be tending the gardens and nature areas all year round, ensuring that the plants and wildlife in the area are well cared for. This is a fantastic opportunity to care for some lovely green areas, appreciated by many people and contribute to the wider Greener Growth agenda.
Hours: 1 or 2 days per week
