I have always found myself most at home outdoors and find joy and contentment in nature. In 2019 I took my RHS Level 2 Qualification to enable me to turn my love of gardening into my career. Since then I have worked in community settings, teaching young people, and growing food using permaculture and sustainable gardening practices.
I have worked in private gardens and on large estates and nurseries. I gained many practical skills including growing and harvesting heritage and heirloom fruit, vegetables, and native plants as well as grafting, training and pruning fruiting trees.
As Head Gardener at a prestigious walled garden, I furthered my knowledge of growing to include cut flowers and annual bedding schemes for year-round displays.
Working for Greener Growth encompasses my love for supporting well-being in the community through interaction with nature, as well as my values of sustainability and environmental protection.
