Dan grew up growing plants selling vegetables on the roadside. Reading about a wonder plant in book by a French Herbalist, sparked my interest in plants and now I'm a botany geek. A teenage me, found Greater Celendine growing in Ipswich which led to a lifelong interest in permaculture design, community gardening and herbal medicine. Degrees in Herbal Medicine and Psychology and qualifications in RHS Horticulture Level 3, Garden Design and Horticultural Therapy have led to a passionate interest in people's healing and therapy in nature, Dan has experience of running social prescribing projects, primary school teaching and managing a hospital garden therapy programme. Weeds and wildflowers still fascinate me.
